The setting
| The Mansion | |
 |
Description
The mansion was built in the late 1800s but has since undergone a few drastic changes that allowed for a few modern convineces to put in. There is indoor plumbing, electricity, and heat as well as many modern appliances such as laundry equipment and kitchen supplies. The only things that the mansion lacks are computers, telephones, and televisions. There is one radio, located in the ballroom.

The Main Floor
| The Kitchen | Description |

The high quality kitchen is regularly stocked by the grounds keeper but the guests are expected to cook and clean for themselves. Anything the characters long to eat can be found there, even the more questionable 'foods', as well as liquor. |
| The Dining Room | Description |
 |
Fancy and a bit fussy, the dining room is avaiable for those who like a more formal setting when they dine. Cabinets contain fine silver ware, china, and a few interesting photographs of the past residents. |
| The Lounge | Description |
 |
A formal area for entertaining, the lounge is a little dusty but overall an interesting room, with stain glass windows, a liquor cabinet, and a few board games in the closet near by. |
| Conservatory | Description |
 |
Quiet and peaceful, the conservatory is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors. A little chilly when raining and blistering when it's hot out, the tempature in this room is a little uncontrollable. |
| Library | Description |
 |
Tons of books on tons of subjects, this room also contains records about the house, it's construction, and information on past residents. |
| Bathroom | Description |
 |
The main floor bathroom is a comfortable room with locking doors that allow users much needed privacy. Other than being a bathroom, there's not much to know about this room. |
| Ballroom | Description |
 |
An airy room, the ballroom contains a few chairs and an old fashion wireless radio that is the only modern, entertainment appliance in the mansion. It picks up three radio stations: Classic rock, classical music, and a bible channel. |
| Bedrooms | Description |
 |
The bedrooms are all basically the same, a few having an extra bed in them, and slight variations in the colour scheme but overall, they're basically the same. The residents can find clothes, money, and other belongings from past residents, excluding computers, phones, ipods, televisions, and other entertainment techonolgy. |
| Bathroom One | Description |
 |
Located on the left side (your left) of the house. Basic bathroom, has all sorts of bathroom products that one would normally have in the house as well as a first aid kit. |
| Bathroom Two | Description |
 |
Located on the right side (your right) of the house. Basic bathroom, has all sorts of bathroom products that one would normally have in the house as well as a first aid kit. |
| Den | Description |
 |
Has a few comfty couches, a dart board, and an old bookcase. This is a place to relax...while you can. |
| Kitchen Storage | Description |
 |
This is where all the food is stored for the kitchen upstairs. |
| Freezer | Description |
 |
Frozen products, meat, and a few unpleasent surprises can be found here. Is much bigger inside than it looks. |
| Furnace | Description |
 |
Very warm, somewhat cluttered room which controls the heat of the mansion. Kinda spooky. |
| Wood Cellar | Description |
 |
This is not a place you want to be locked in at night. With an dirt floor and strong sense of wrongness, the wood cellar is the place where bad creatures can enter the house, though this only seems to happen at night. |
| Laundry Room | Description |
 |
Where the characters can wash their clothes and find house hold poisons if necessary. |
| Storage | Description |
 |
While this picture makes it appear empty and small, the storage area is quiet large and filled with various house hold tools such as spades, pitchforks, axes, knives, rope, lead pipes, wrenches, and various other potentially dangerous objects. |
| Vault | Description |
 |
At the moment this area is locked to the residents but it will be opened later in the game to reveal some surprises, important clues, and weapons. |
| Grounds Keeper's House | Description |
 |
Locked to residents, this is where the grounds keeper lives. |
| Garden | Description |
 |
There are a wide variety of plants in the garden and even a small vegtable patch. A few poisonous plants can also be found there. |
| Fountain | Description |
 |
The magestic fountain is near the house and looks out on the sweeping grounds and forests behind the house. Is in perfect working condition. |
| Forest | Description |
 |
The forest surrounds the house on all sides and is a thick labryithn of trees and plants. If you character enters the forest in hopes of leaving the mansion, they will walk for long period of time until they find themselves back at the mansion again, on the opposite side they started out on. |
